Experience
My love of teaching has taken me across the globe and left me with a deep sense of satisfaction, and it's something that will undoubtedly play a huge role in my life moving forward. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Earlham College in Religious Studies, and at this institution I had some of my most memorable teaching experiences. During this time, I facilitated Project Love Curriculum among high school students, which promotes gender equality. I also served as a program manager for Girls Incorporated, fighting for the rights of girls everywhere. Upon graduation, I traveled to Israel, where I taught English in various elementary and middle schools. I was then immediately hired as a teacher's aide, and taught reading and writing skills to students in grades 5 through 8 in a school in Philadelphia. My specialties are reading, writing, and social studies at the middle school and high school levels, although I am more than happy to help undergraduates with religious studies. Another one of my strengths is helping my students prepare for essay writing, and I like to think that I've cracked the code of how to write an amazing essay. I love to read, and I even write my own short stories when I have spare time.
